Using SNS

Are your SNS Products Genuine?
Yes, we source all SNS products directly from SNS Manufacturing Facilities in Orlando, USA.
Do I need specific skills or experience in order to use SNS Products?
All SNS products are intended for professional use, so specific product training is required to use SNS products.
Where can I find instructions or tutorials on how to use SNS products?
You can find them through our product pages and descriptions. Please contact us if you have any specific questions on using SNS products.
What is the difference between Gelous Base and Gel Base?
Gelous Base is only required for Gelous Dipping Colours while Gel Base is used for French or pink applications only. Each SNS powder are set in differently, so therefore, you cannot combine Gelous Base and Gel Base in different applications.
How do I keep my SNS bottle brushes from hardening?
After each two nail applications, wipe off the brush with a clean paper towel. At the end of the day, always clean the neck of the bottle inside and out with a paper towel damped with pure acetone.
My SNS bottle is stuck and cannot be opened?
To avoid strains and injuries, DO NOT force the bottle to open. If the bottle cap is stuck, immerse the bottle (including the cap) in hot water for 5 minutes. Remove the bottle from the water and cover with a clean towel. Gently twist the cap to open.
What is SNS Pre-Bonded formula?
If a SNS product is labelled as pre-bonded, it means no EA Bond is required for the application. Therefore, application time is reduced significantly.
Are SNS powders safe to use?
SNS Dipping Powders are safe to use, and consists of organically processed chemicals of Benzoyl Peroxide, Titatum Dioxide and Acrylic Ester Polymer.
Can I use an another Activator in substitute for Sealer?
No, most Activators contain a higher vapour rate which can potentially ruin the Gel Top’s brushes and the shine from SNS finishing look.
Why do my nails turn yellow after a week?
Most yellowing comes from tanning, bleach, being out the sun (exposed to UV rays) and/or from the hand lotion you are using.
Why does my manicure seem to be lifting up?
Before a Gel Base application, make sure to remove excess cuticles by sanding well and make sure to never apply the Gel Base over the cuticle. Try to keep everything a hairline away from the cuticle.
How do I ensure that my manicure don't break or fall off?
The nail is not thick enough at stress points. To prevent this, use a minimum of four coats for medium length nails and young clients. For long nails, use a minimum of five coats. In the last layer, always dip into Natural Set Sheer to strengthen the nail.
Can I refill SNS Gelous Colours?
No, SNS recommends that you do not refill any Gelous Colours. It is much healthier for the nails if you soak the old Gelous Colour off and start the process from the beginning.
How do I use the French Moulding?
Side 1 is used for clients with less curvy nails. Side 2 is used for clients with more curvy nails.

How do I remove SNS Manicures?
To remove SNS Manicures, the first step is to sand off the shine of the Gel Top on all 10 nails. Next, you can either use foil or nail soak off clips with cotton balls and Acetone or soak the nails in Acetone for 10 minutes and then wipe them off with a paper towel. Alternatively, you can try the ‘SNS Baggy Method’ by clicking here.
How do I prevent the pink colour from appearing cloudy after the nail is finished?
It’s essential to use the right amount of Gel Base: not too much and not too little. Always remember the rule: “thin and evenly”. Finish each nail before moving on to the next, and don’t wait too long before next coat.

Yes, if the goods are not yet opened or used. Please refer to our returns and exchanges policy area for the exchange process.

Are all prices in AUD currency?
All prices are in AUD and include GST.
What can I do if the delivery seems to be taking too long?
Once you have checked the tracking details to see where your order is, please refer to our contact details so one of our team can assist you right away. Please allow 1-5 business days for delivery before contacting us.
Is my delivery insured against damage or loss?
Yes, we provide transit cover for all orders until delivered. This includes any orders that are lost in transit as declared by the carrier or damaged items (including leaked items) that are received in this condition. You will need to contact us with photos of the product(s) in question within 48 hours to be eligible for compensation.
Can I track my order online?
Yes, simply enter your consignment number provided for your order and search on the nominated carrier website.
Who will deliver my order to me?
We use a range of reputable carriers including Australia Post, Fastway or Startrack.
When will I receive my order?
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an e-mail notification with your consignment tracking information, this will allow you to track when your order will arrive.
Can I order from outside of Australia?
We currently do not offer international shipping for online orders.
How long does it take to deliver my order?
After payment is made, your order will be shipped within 1-3 business days. Total length of delivery thereafter varies depending on your location though it is usually 1-5 business days.
Do you deliver to PO Boxes?
Unfortunately, our couriers does not allow us to send to PO Boxes. We will contact you to request for an alternative shipping address if a PO box has been entered on the order.
What payment methods do you accept?
We only currently accept Visa or Mastercard. PayPal will be available soon for payment.
Do I need to verify my account while registering?
Yes, an account verification is required. Once you have entered your e-mail address in our sign-up page, an e-mail will be sent to you with a link provided. Simply follow the link and your account is verified. You will then be able to change your password or update any account details.
Do I need to register before buying?
No, you can make a purchase as a guest or you can register for an account so you don’t need to re-enter your details for future orders.
I am a nail technician, beauty therapist or studying nails or beauty, can I get a discount?
Yes, please e-mail us to sales@snsnails.com.au with a copy of your previous qualification or enrollment form relevant to a nail or beauty course attached. Once approved, we will advise instructions on how to obtain your trade price through our website.
Do your products come with a warranty?
Yes, most of the products come with manufacturer’s back-to-base warranty.
